Job Description

Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady is seeking an associate attorney for its Greater Philadelphia area office with experience in appellate advocacy, general litigation, product liability, and professional liability.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong skills in handling complex litigation matters. The position requires high motivation, flexibility, and initiative, with the ability to manage a litigation caseload from inception through appeal. Candidates should exhibit sound judgment, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a collaborative, professional demeanor. While primarily based in the Greater Philadelphia area office, the candidate will engage with colleagues and clients across the firm’s broader network. Responsibilities include:

Independently handling assigned caseloads and collaborating with senior attorneys as needed

Drafting and filing appellate briefs, motions, and other legal documents

Conducting legal research and preparing comprehensive analyses

Participating in depositions, court appearances, and oral arguments

Providing strategic legal counsel to clients and maintaining strong client relationships

Ensuring compliance with client guidelines and meeting all case deadlines

Recording and maintaining accurate billable hours

Required Skills/Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in general litigation, product liability, and professional liability

Admission to practice in the State of Pennsylvania (admission in NY, NJ, and/or CT is a plus)

Federal court experience and prior appellate advocacy work are highly desirable

Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills, with a commitment to delivering precise, high-quality work

Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), flexible work options, and paid time off.

For New York City Applicants: Salary range is $35.00 - $70.00/hr. ($72,800.00 - $145,600.00), with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual salary offered will be based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady, LLP is a multi-state employer, and this range may differ for positions based in other states.
