Contract Duration:5 months contract

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement network solutions, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.

• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and infrastructure from unauthorized access.

• Perform network capacity planning and make recommendations for network upgrades.

• Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

• Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve network-related issues and implement new technologies.

• Managing software and network infrastructure for virtualized environments.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 7 years of experience in network engineering or a related role.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and switching technologies.

• Experience with firewall configuration and management (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks).

• Experience with VPN technologies (e.g., IPsec, SSL VPN).

• Experience with system administration of Linux.

• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, KVM, Docker).

• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Prefferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+).

• Experience with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience with high-speed NAS/SAN Storage networks.

• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).

• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
