Entry Level Mechanical Engineer - AL

Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to join their team. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Utilize ERP Systems to manage and streamline manufacturing processes

Learn and apply CAD Software for designing and modifying product components

Develop skills in 3D modeling to create accurate representations of products

Use Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports, presentations, and documentation

Learn and implement G-Code programming for CNC Machines

Engage in hands-on manufacturing tasks and operate various machines

Ensure the efficient running of manufacturing equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Perform die cutting and assembly of foam products

Participate in basic laboring tasks as needed to support manufacturing operations

Perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications:

Experience or interest in hands-on manufacturing and machine operation is needed; Hands-on training in manufacturing tasks, machine operation, die cutting, foam assembly, and basic laboring tasks is provided

Basic knowledge of ERP Systems is needed; however, comprehensive training in ERP Systems, CAD Software, 3D Modeling, Microsoft Office tools, and G-code programming will be provided

Must be willing to learn CAD Software and 3D modeling techniques and be interested in learning G-code programming

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must have excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues

Only candidates that can pass a drug screen will be considered. This company is willing to train someone who just graduated.
