Job Description
responsibilities:
Desktop Technician will provide day-to-day local and remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot, and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software, and application issues
Provides Break Fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution.
Be able to provide support and apply desktop configurations.
Provide first/second level contact and problem resolution for end user issues.
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite preferred as well as video conferencing i.e. Teams, Zoom
Must have networking experience
Work with Third Party Vendors to remediate complex issues as needed.
Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows and iOS devices
Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware
Performs general preventative maintenance tasks on computers, laptops, and printers.
Performs remedial repairs on Desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized hardware.
Must be able to travel to various jobsites and perform onsite installation and support in DC metro area
Performs other duties as assigned.
