Contract: W2, Contract

Duration: 18 months

Location: Hybrid – Austin, TX (Tues–Wed in office; Mon, Thurs, Fri remote; field visits as needed)

Pay Range: $55-59/hour DOE

Brief Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized OSP Construction Program Manager to support a cutting-edge broadband infrastructure project. In this role, you will drive the construction and deployment of networks, ensuring seamless execution of large-scale capital projects. You’ll be the point person for project planning, execution, vendor management, and stakeholder communication—paving the way for enhanced internet access in communities nationwide.

Responsibilities:

Oversee pre-construction planning, execution/sequencing, and splicing/testing for successful network deployment and turnover

Manage project budgets, schedules, and construction milestones

Track vendor performance, ensure project scoping is aligned with engineering plans, and drive timely project completion

Maintain construction schedules, coordinate resources, and manage materials

Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations and deliverables are met

Approve invoices and generate detailed project and financial reports

Requirements:

5+ years of Program/Project Management experience in capital-intensive, technical scopes of work

Proven experience managing vendor relationships, scheduling, and capital tracking

Strong background in telecom infrastructure, OSP construction, and FTTx operations

Familiarity with CAD, GIS, and FTTH records systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in process/workflow improvement and managing complex cross-functional projects

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks under pressure
