Requirements Validation and Verification Development

Services/Deliverables:

Review 777-9 Flight Control requirements against new 777-8F program requirement attributes in accordance with program Development Assurance process documentation.

This would involve assessing the requirements against airplane and system level changes to identify whether they should be classified as changed/affected or unchanged.

This would involve assessing the requirements against program-level guidance to identify whether they should be classified as functional or nonfunctional.

This would involve assessing the requirements against the systems safety analysis and program-level guidance to identify whether they should be classified as safety applicable or nonapplicable – including a reference to the location in the safety analysis that drove the need for each safety applicable requirement.

Assess and determine the verification method for any changed/affected requirements.

This would also include making the necessary updates to the new attributes within DOORS and reviewing the results with the Boeing technical team.

Acceptance Criteria: A completed set of DOORS requirements that meets the program guidance and technical team’s approval.

Preliminary System Safety Analysis (PSSA) Updates

Services/Deliverables:

Update the 777-9 PSSAs for the 777-8F program to ensure the functional decomposition updates introduced on the 777-8F program are incorporated and align with the Preliminary Airplane Safety Analysis (PASA).

This would involve assessing and linking the requirements tagged “functional” to the model elements and line items within the functional decomposition models and functional hazard assessments respectively.

Acceptance Criteria: Output would be a complete set of PSSAs that meet program guidance.Company Description
