Machine Operator

Egger Steel Company, a leading provider of structural steel fabrication in the Upper Midwest for over 75 years, is seeking a skilled machine operator to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. Current schedule is 6:00AM-4:30PM Mon-Thu; 6:00AM-3:30PM Fri; 6:00AM-12:00PM Sat (optional). We offer a competitive wage with opportunity for advancement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a machine operator or similar manufacturing role

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints to determine machine settings and production specifications

Set up, operate, and maintain equipment independently

Conduct basic troubleshooting of mechanical issues and report complex problems to maintenance or supervision

Accurately use a tape measure with speed and precision

Work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
