Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer – Containers and Cloud Security

Location: Fairfax, VA 22030 (on-site in a classified environment)

- Locations vary in the Northern Virginia area. Type: Part-time / potentially full-time depending on contract requirements. 1099 usage not authorized, employees will become W-2 employees of the company, with a part-time status unless the contract specifies a full-time requirement. Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with CI-POLYGRAPH required D9Tech Resources is seeking AWS DevOps Engineers to support secure infrastructure and automation efforts within a classified environment. These contract roles involve deploying and managing containerized applications, integrating security solutions, and maintaining compliance with federal standards. Candidates must have experience handling classified information properly and be fully comfortable working on-site in a secured setting. Key Responsibilities Container orchestration (ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes)

CI/CD pipeline design and management (e.g., Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline)

Cloud security implementation and monitoring

Integration of partner security solutions

Firewall configuration (e.g., Palo Alto Networks)

IAM policy management

Security compliance enforcement (PCI, HIPAA, FIPS)

Incident response and troubleshooting

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

Automation scripting (Python, Bash, Go)

Required Qualifications Top Secret clearance with POLYGRAPH

AWS infrastructure and container orchestration experience

CI/CD pipeline expertise

Cloud security and IAM knowledge

Infrastructure as Code and config management tools

Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, Go)

Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI, HIPAA, FIPS)

Security tools and firewall management

Troubleshooting in secure environments

Experience handling classified information and working in secured facilities

Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS GovCloud, C2S, or SC2S

Secrets management tools (AWS Secrets Manager, Vault)

Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)

Disaster recovery and backup strategy exposure

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field

6+ years of technical experience

Job Type: Contract Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Application Question(s): Active Polygraph
