Key Responsibilities of a Transportation Operations Manager:

Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize fleet management and expand our taxi service footprint.

Lead operational and logistical efforts, ensuring smooth daily fleet operations and addressing any challenges.

Oversee recruiting, training, and retention programs for local staff and independent drivers.

Build strong relationships with customers and ensure service excellence.

Monitor fleet maintenance programs to maximize availability, reliability, and vehicle safety.

Ensure full compliance with all safety and operational protocols, both for drivers and vehicles.

Regularly analyze performance metrics and take action to meet operational and financial goals.

Lead annual budgeting, fleet procurement, and strategic planning for the location.

Represent the company in client meetings and contract renewal discussions, as needed.

Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship, team development, and operational improvements.

What We’re Looking for as a Transportation Operations Manager:

5–10 years of leadership experience in fleet management or operations, ideally with P&L responsibility.

Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and growth.

Collaborative leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement.
