What You’ll Do:
Operations
Oversee daily opening of pm line, to include: walk through to ensure service execution, quality pars, organization of prepped goods, as well as organization and cleanliness of all stations.
Communicates with Chef, line cooks, FOH managers and floor staff during pre-shift and service on item counts, specials, and 86’d items.
During service focus on line cooks ticket timing and that items complete together.
Continuously coach staff on proper labeling and dating of all products and rotation of all products, using FIFO while following guidelines as according to local health department regulations.
Knowledge of each station and the ability to work all positions to expedite the flow of service.
Expedite diner service to ensure all quality of plate presentation leaving the kitchen. The last set of eyes on each plate should be a chefs.
Knows and follows all local health department regulations. Practices sanitary and safe food handling at all times. Ensures staff is organized and works neatly throughout shift.
Assist Chef in counting and entering of inventory by guidelines to produce a proper food cost.
Attend both manager meeting and BEO meeting weekly and coordinate a schedule to follow the week’s projections of sales and private events.
Monitor the condition of equipment and teach team members proper cleaning and maintenance
Make daily log entries to communicate to in-house team and corporate on daily events
Monitor employee punch-in and punch-outs for proper labor control.
Communicate with PM Sous and Chef the daily accounts, for proper hand over of the kitchen.
Staff Management
Coach, council and teach all team members at all times.
Check out each cook, before they are allowed to go home.
Help assist any station during service to help ensure a consistent service and product.
General Duties
Work with am sous chef to write schedule for each week.
Make sure that every station has a detailed prep list written for the am crew.
Daily manager log data entry.
Daily punch edits.
Who You Are:
You are a genuine and vibrant team player who is solution-focused and proactively resourceful.
You have experience in the service/hospitality industry. Previous back of house experience would be nice but isn’t required. We will consider the right person, with the right attitude who can back-up their abilities through previous work, or involvement in teams (school, work, or sports).
You pride yourself on your ability to learn new skills, your ability to work efficiently and effectively, your reliability, and your ability to ‘keep your cool’ even during the busiest shifts.
You are able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

You are able to safely and repetitively lift 40 lbs (items weighted similar to a bag of potatoes).
You are able to stand for long periods of time.
