Special Programs Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
The Special Programs Manager coordinates to develop, improve and lead highly effective Evidence Based Practices (EBP) and programs along with providing clinical management over clinical staff. Responsible and manages daily oversite of EBP’s ensuring integrity and fidelity standards. Focuses on supporting clients and providers with all social determinants of health, which includes medical, behavioral health, supported employment, adult foster care and social care services, while monitoring all care management responsibilities. Provides organizational leadership and oversees all providers of the multidisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement and revise comprehensive treatment planning for adults. Responsible for supervision of clinical and medical providers, health coaches, peer support specialists interns and volunteers.
Qualifications
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology required
A minimum of 3-5 years of previous managerial/supervisory experience in mental health/human services required
Appropriate professional license required
Previous experience in program development and management preferred
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance
Strong clinical skills knowledge
Excellent diagnostic skills and expertise in treatment of mental health disorders, substance abuse, addiction, trauma and mood disorders required
Knowledge and use of evidence based practice models in the treatment for adults in need of integrated health, experience with working in a medical setting
Knowledge integrated health model of proving services
Skills and expertise in diagnostic assessment including knowledge of DSM-5
