Description
Conduct diagnostic tests on all artificial lift types both surface and downhole, provide training, recommend adjustments that will improve the efficiency of well operations along with daily data entry, well monitoring and failure analyzation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Data entry and well monitoring using multiple computer programs
Shooting fluid levels & running dynamometer tests on wells that are operating at low efficiencies, diagnosing the data and giving optimization recommendations
Performing root cause failure analysis during well workovers and recording results in WellView
Evaluating the balance and operating conditions of pumping units.
Responsible for troubleshooting & repairing Lufkin Well Manager VFD 1.0 & 2.0 issues
Will provide hands-on well analysis and Lufkin Well Manager training to lease operators
Take part in Well Reviews and provide well optimization information

Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum 4 years’ Well Analysis experience
Must have experience using WellView, Spotfire, TAM, XSPOC, and all Microsoft Office Programs
Must be able to analyze well failures and make recommendations for repair
Must be able to design an insert pump & place the order to the pump company
Must have knowledge of downhole and pumping operations for Rod Lift, ESP & Jet Lift
Proven record of working independently, under little direct supervision
Must have good communication skills
Daily interactions with Well Analysis Lead, Production Foreman, Lease Operators, Production Engineer, and workover
Good driving record and a current driver's license
Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
Work schedule is every other Friday off 6:30am - 3:30pm, some weekends required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to react to potentially dangerous situations quickly and appropriately
Standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, visual acuity, hearing, speaking
Must be able to climb 15 foot high ladders and stairwells
Will be required to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
Must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours and on weekends
