We are currently seeking a Construction Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls staff managing project costs, schedule and performance metrics to develop comprehensive dashboards and reports that visualize key aspects of numerous large-scale projects throughout LiRo-Hills business.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

Construction Project Controls Manager is responsible for ensuring projects stay on time, within budget and meet quality standards by managing and overseeing various aspects of the project lifecycle, including cost, schedule and riskmanagement. In addition:

Project Controls Management:

Lead a group of professionals performing estimating, scheduling and data management

Implement and maintain project controls methodologies like Earned Value Management to track project performance against baseline plans

Monitor project costs, schedule and risks identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions

Analyze change orders and their impact on project budget and time-line

Conduct regular project status reviews with project teams

Data Analysis and Visualization:

Extract and transform project data from various sources (scheduling tools, financial, systems, etc.) in Power BI datasets

Design and develop interactive dashboards in Power BI that clearly display project progress, cost variances, schedule deviations and key performance indicators

Reporting and Communication:

Create customized reports for different levels of management, providing clear and concise project performance updates

Pro-actively identify trends and potential problems through data analysis

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Experience as a Project Manager in leading our Project Controls & Technology Team

10+ years of combined field and office project controls experience involving large-scale projects

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, cost control, scheduling and earned value management principles

Ability to gather clean, analyze and interpret complex project data from multiple sources

Familiar with Power B1

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data insights so management

Familiar with project management software (example: Primavera P6), data extraction tools and SQL queries

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.

- Compensation: Min: $180,000 - Max: $225,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates qualifications and location.
