What we are looking for:
JARS Cannabis is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level IT Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems across our locations, ensuring seamless daily operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced cannabis industry while contributing to a growing company. Responsibilities:
Maintain identity management systems
Perform basic troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems with computers, devices, and systems
Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedule on ticket system
Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
Install and configure software applications
Develop & maintain networks with an emphasis on security & performance
Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance
Maintain hardware inventory and assist distribution
Requirements and Skills
Proven experience in Information Technology or relevant position(s)
Proficient technical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Professional communication ability
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Certifications or degree in IT will be an advantage
