We are looking for A Manufacturing Engineer to focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to efficiently produce high-quality products. This job will bridge engineering and production, ensuring that all ARDEX machinery, tools, materials, and workflows are effective, safe, and cost-efficient.

Responsibilities/Key Processes:
Primary technical support for Mansfield manufacturing plant processes, equipment, and technology.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process and procedures from raw material receipt through finished goods packaging.
Manage capital and engineering projects of moderate scope under the direction of the Plant Manager and/or Corporate Senior Engineering Manager
Assist with the management and implementation of large-scale capital projects.
Be the owner of the computerized maintenance system in the Mansfield plant and support the plant manager and maintenance team in the use of the system.
Document and monitor the relationship between the plant’s production processes and the environment and provide leadership in continuously reducing all plant waste streams.
Assist plant manager with environmental regulatory reporting and all other compliance activities.
Experience and Skills:
Attributes Required:
Process and equipment troubleshooting capability.
Minimum 3-year work experience in a manufacturing facility.
Industrial equipment, electrical & mechanical knowledge
Project management skills and the ability to work independently while managing several projects or activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Understanding of 5S and Lean principles
Discipline and counseling experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Dependability, accountability, detail-oriented and responsive
Sound business judgment, decisiveness and the ability to delegate when necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
You must be able to lift 55 pounds occasionally.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another Technical Degree preferred
