Job Description

Salary:

The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, collaborating closely with customers, owners, general contractors, engineering, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates are provided.

Required skills and abilities:

Must have at least (5) years of Electrical Estimating Experience with a strong background in commercial and industrial construction projects.

Ability to analyze and interpret project plans and specifications to create comprehensive cost estimates.

Proficient in interpreting and analyzing construction drawings, specifications and contract documents.

Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills.

Ability to work with tight deadlines.

Ability to work on multiple estimates and manage your time to meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

Proficiency in English is essential for communication with clients and team members.

Education and experience:

Must have experience with Electrical estimating software and performing estimations.

Experience with Conest estimating software is a plus.

Experience with software such as Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, Excel, Word and Cloud based software such as Dropbox, Google sheets.

AutoCad is useful, but not required.
