WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an AV Project Coordinator, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of Audio Visual integration projects across a variety of environments including corporate offices, conference spaces, and event venues. You will serve as the central point of coordination between internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within scope.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including scheduling, status tracking, and resource allocation.
Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project documentation (e.g., timelines, risk logs, deliverables, and closeout reports).
Serve as liaison between clients, vendors, and internal AV engineering and installation teams.
Manage procurement processes: request quotes, track purchase orders, and follow up on delivery timelines.
Track inventory and logistics of AV hardware shipments for on-time delivery to job sites.
Help oversee on-site installation scheduling and technician coordination.
Support the execution of quality control checks, ensuring work meets specifications and standards.
Monitor and update project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, or internal systems.
Attend project meetings and document action items and decisions.
Escalate delays or challenges proactively to stakeholders and provide suggested solutions.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
2+ years experience in project coordination, preferably in Audio Visual, IT, or construction/technical environments.
Familiarity with AV systems, components, and terminology (e.g., displays, codecs, DSPs, control systems).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple ongoing projects.
Self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
Experience working with AV vendors and manufacturers (e.g., Cisco, Crestron, Poly, Logitech).
Knowledge of AV industry standards and best practices.
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
PMP, CTS, or similar certification a plus.

$60,000—$65,000 USD
