Job Description
Join our team in the Electrode Department as an Operator, where you'll work on a dynamic day shift schedule from 6 am to 6 pm. This role follows a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 days on, allowing for a balanced work-life with alternating weekends. You'll have the opportunity to engage in diverse tasks across three departments: Mixing, Coding, and Machine Operation.
Responsibilities
Prepare equipment and materials for production.
Operate equipment in accordance with the OP Manual, ensuring materials are inputted correctly and monitoring defects and loss for continuous self-inspection of the product quality.
Maintain accurate records of production work in the GMES (Global Manufacturing Execution System).
Track all non-conformations and scraps.
Wear a full mask respirator when handling powders in the Mixing department.
Ensure no contact with skin when handling slurry by properly wearing PPE.
Handle occasional line breaks in the Coding department, requiring entry into oven rooms with temperatures of 330-350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Assist with guided lifting and pulling of reels weighing up to 75 pounds.Essential Skills
At least 6 months of manufacturing experience.
9 months tenure at each job.
Proficiency in cleanroom operations and assembly.
Experience in machine operation.
Production skills with a focus on quality and safety.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to maintain accurate records and track production metrics.

Work Environment
The facility is expansive, requiring significant walking between buildings and plant areas. The department is a clean room, demanding adherence to strict cleanliness standards. Employees will wear garb and beard nets if applicable, in a meticulously clean, temperature-controlled, and brightly lit environment. The focus on 5S3K ensures a well-organized workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
