Job Description
This position is for a general shop helper in a sheet metal shop. The role involves working as a floater while gradually receiving training across all departments. Responsibilities include operating a timesaver, deburring parts, and setting up and operating Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness of machines and the shop is required.
Responsibilities
Operate timesaver and deburr parts.
Set up and operate Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser.
Maintain cleanliness of machines and the shop.
Learn and assist in various departments as needed.Essential Skills
6+ months of manufacturing experience.
Strong work ethic and mechanical inclination.
Ability to lift 50-60 lbs regularly.
Strong desire to work in the sheet metal industry.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Recent graduates from sheet metal Tech School preferred.

Work Environment
The work environment is a prototype sheet metal fabrication shop that operates as a union shop, with most employees joining the Union after 90 days. The shop is clean, bright, and equipped with the latest Trumpf machines, reflecting a commitment to maintaining a high-tech and capable workspace.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
