Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the operational team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Grand Island, NY

Pay Range: $18/hour (includes $1/hour shift differential)

Shift: 2 pm – 10:30 pm – Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Daily mopping of the Aseptic Prep floors (2x mopping of the entire area)

Daily cleaning of specified areas (wiping with a sponge, flushing sinks)

Weekly cleanings of all areas (ceilings and walls 2x)

Washing equipment in the sink (kettles/mop handles/buckets – pans and trays if the pan washer goes down)

Running the pan washer (unload pans from racks/place into pan washer/unload pan washer to a pallet)

What's Needed?

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to reach above head for extended periods of time (able to pause when needed)

Ability to push/pull equipment on wheels or with the aid of a manual pallet jack

Ability to squat/bend/twist

Ability to read/write legibly (legible documentation is essential)
