Position Overview
As a Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final closeout. You’ll lead project teams, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and ensure project milestones are achieved with a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full project life cycle, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers
Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction codes and safety standards
Oversee on-site construction activities and resolve issues as they arise
Review and approve project costs, contracts, and change orders
Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Procore), and budgeting
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
OSHA certification and PMP or similar credentials are a plus
