Job Summary

The VP of Information Technology will oversee the design, development, and implementation of company-wide technology programs, applications, and infrastructure. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring cybersecurity is in place, optimal service delivery of services and projects, and financial stewardship. Develop and retain a high-performing and actively engaged IT leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Craft and execute a robust information technology strategy aligned with the Company's growth goals and future vision.

Spearhead a culture of continuous improvement, identifying avenues for innovation, optimization, and heightened operational efficiency throughout the organization.

Collaborate closely with the IT Directors and cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and elevate the capabilities of our systems.

Champion innovative technology solutions to enhance customer service and ensure a seamlessly user-centric experience.

Oversee process analysis, software implementation, development, and technology security, while ensuring alignment with defined project scopes, deadlines, and budgets.

Provide guidance and support to the project manager, process analysts, developers, hardware support, and help desk personnel, ensuring project success and operational excellence.

Stay attuned to emerging industry trends and technologies, strategically applying this knowledge to propel the Company's digital transformation.

Recruit and nurture the IT as needed, fostering growth and development within the team.

Evaluate and negotiate contracts with systems and service providers, optimizing our partnerships.

Safeguard the security of our systems and infrastructure, upholding robust cybersecurity measures.

Formulate and monitor the departmental budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations to assess team members' contributions and growth.

Prepare monthly status reports, offering insights to the leadership team on the progress of initiatives.

Manages existing portfolio companies, including reviewing annual budgets and long-term business plans.

Develops and upholds IT operations policies, protocols, and benchmarks governing infrastructure and operations to ensure uniformity and adherence.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Capabilities

Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Expert knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, network protocols and architectures, and cybersecurity principles.

Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.

Expert knowledge of PowerBI and Microsoft Office.

Experience leading system or tool implementations with responsibility for verifying capabilities, outputs, dependencies and implementation scope.

Experience in vendor management to provide solutions and services.

Technical proficiency in application architecture and data integration.

Experience with Technology contracts and cost implications through the technology asset life cycle.

Experience in developing budgets, forecasts, and plans, and demonstrated ability to manage financial plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Informatics or Engineering.

Minimum (10) ten years of experience in Information Technology at the Director level or equivalent.

Certified IT Asset Manager preferred or other ITAM certifications a plus.
