This role is critical in providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive the company’s financial performance.Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational decisions.Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing forecasts.Develop and monitor key financial metrics and KPIs.Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.Internal Controls and Compliance:Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.Oversee external audits, addressing any findings promptly.Cash Management:Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.Prepare and actualize cash flow projections weekly, monthly and semi-annually.Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships.Team Leadership and Development:Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Coordinate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.Strategic Financial Management:Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies.Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability.Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.Requirements:DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:Strong financial and analytical acumen.Bachelor’s degree in accounting and licensed CPA.12+ years of experience in accounting with 6+ years in Supervisor or Manager capacity.At least 4+years of experience with a global accounting firmFlexibility and ability to maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with short deadlines.Interested in hearing more?
