Building Maintenance Technician - Part-Time

Job Description

$20+ hourlyResponsibilities:

Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs

Plan and implement preventative maintenance procedures to maximize equipment operations and minimize safety risks

Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed

Take additional maintenance requests as assigned

Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced

Interact with guests and other employees from different departments.

Other functions as assigned by the Director of Operations.Qualifications:

Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Ability to work weekends, afternoons, and mornings.

Provides service with a smile and understands guest satisfaction.

Problem Solver- Implements solutions and overcomes constraints.

Self-Starter - positive, optimistic, and willing to take initiative.

Physical requirements- able to lift up to 40 lb. regularly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stand for long periods of time, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, or crawl

Use of ladders is required.

Ability to speak and hear clearly.

Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather.

Possess an understanding of and follow safety procedures.

Able to bring your own basic hand tools immediately or within the first 3 months.About Company
