Dynamic established Pediatric Office is seeking an energetic and reliable individual to join our Medical Billing/Front office team. The role is a key team-player position in a busy environment that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to duties and responsibilities while working with a clinical team and co-workers. The qualified applicant must demonstrate a positive attitude, considerable latitude for independent judgment, professional ethics, appearance, and conduct with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities and Duties

Phone calls to insurance and follow-up on claims

Entering and Posting Charges

Billing and Collections

Meet productivity standards to ensure benefits are completed in a timely manner

Verifies insurance eligibility and has general knowledge of plan coverage types - HMO, PPO, POS, EPO

Assisting patients with any questions or issues

Answering patient calls and scheduling appointmentQualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Required)

Medical billing experience with insurance verification

Communication skills both verbal, written, and hearing ability

Mathematical skills

Must be able to multi-task

Self-motivated

Organized and detail-oriented

Team player with a positive attitude

EPIC EMR experience is a plus

Bilingual is a plusPhysical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

If require the ability to lift up to 15-20 pounds at a time.Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
