Salary:
Swiderski Equipment, one of Wisconsins premier and long-establishedagriculture and constructionequipment dealerships, is an enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our service team! This individual provides assistance to the Service Manager in various ways through warranty submission, filling in during absences and providing telematics support to our customers. This position works closely with all service and parts department team members, as well as maintains positive professional relationships with manufacturer reps.
What Youll Do:
Monitor telematics connections for alerts and error codes, along with pertinent machine data and properly communicate with service manager to proactively address alerts and codes
Utilize technology programs in the service department, including machine data, fleet management notifications, error codes and service interval scheduling
Complete warranty paperwork and submit needed materials on-time and in accordance with manufacturer protocols for warranty claims
Collaborate with service technicians and parts specialists to complete and submit warranty claims
Assist service manager with day-to-day tasks, as deemed necessary by the service manager.
Provide backup assistance and fill-in for service manager as needed
Develop a successful relationship with manufacturer service reps
Answer customer calls for service work and assist service manager, as needed
What It Takes:
Must be highly organized
Exceptional customer service
Must be proficient with computers as this role requires a significant amount of writing and computer work
* Prior experience working in a service department and/or in the Ag equipment field is highly desired. Mechanical background or ag background is also a plus, though not required. Salary commensurate with experience.
