DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a DevOps Engineer for our Columbus, OH location.

Responsibilities

Responsible for collaborating with development teams to design, build, test, and deploy changes to new or existing software

Identifies interdependencies and productivity barriers between the development and operations functions

Automates manual processes to improve efficiency and productivity

Establishes, promotes, and continually improves DevOps processes

Qualifications

3+ years experience in a DevOps or related role

Experience maintaining code repositories and pipelines in Azure DevOps

Extensive experience with Azure Cloud Services: AKS, Function Apps, Compute, Monitoring, Storage, Networking.

Strong understanding within Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC example: Terraform)

Familiar with SQL server environment

Mandatory experience producing industry-standard secure applications

Additional software engineering experience (beneficial): .NET Framework, C#, and Automated testing familiarity

The ability to work outside of normal business hours
