The Role
The MarketAxess team is looking for a Sales Relationship Manager to support and focus on the RFQ-hub Platform, supporting clients trading in equities and derivatives. The Sales Relationship Manager will be exposed to all aspects of the business from customer integration to supporting sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn a new product on a growing team.
How You'll Help Take Us There
Build a Pipeline by prospecting and covering both Buy and Sell side accounts
Monitor and understand platform trading in real time
Monitor and respond to inbound client queries in very fast-paced environment
Manage the process of developing and distributing standardized reporting on platform analytics internally and externally
Deliver results amidst continuous change in an agile work environment
Proactively tackle business problems with creative solutions
Work with product teams to develop differentiated products
Ad hoc duties as assigned
What We’re Looking for
6+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in a client facing role in a sales capacity with prior broker/dealer, buy-side firm, or other electronic trading venue experience
Strong understanding of equities (ETFs) and derivatives trading
Prior client-onboarding experience, ideally at another FinTech firm
Understanding of electronic trading platforms
Ability to forge and maintain key customer, dealer and vendor relationships
Proven track record of exceeding goals and quotas for sales meetings/closing business
Introduce and deliver ideas for process improvement that will result in a competitive advantage for our platform
Anticipate and analyze customer trends and risks, and craft solutions to address them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate succinctly and accurately to customers via chat and phone
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
Professional or other Required Licenses
Series 7 preferred, must be acquired within 6 months of joining
Series 63 preferred, must be acquired within 6 months of joining
Series 3 preferred, must be acquired within 6 months of joining

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $135,000 USD to $185,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
