POSITION OVERVIEW

The purpose of this position is to assist the NPD Build Team with definition of effective production processes, tools/tooling, documentation, etc. as required for production lines within the company. This position is primarily responsible for assembly, test, process and documentation review, and providing feedback to engineering with potential improvements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assemble hardware using components, documentation, and tooling defined by engineering.

Identify hurdles or issues which occur during the assembly of product and communicate them to supervisor and engineers.

Maintain work area, workstations, tooling, and equipment.

Participate in regular team meetings to align on status of actions and projects with the team.

Train and assist other technicians as needed.

Participate in annual physical inventory to ensure accuracy of inventory of department.

Other activities are assigned as needed to reach team goals. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Successful completion of high school, or equivalent

1-3 years of experience assembling motors or other precision electromechanical product

Ability to read instructions or blueprints

Strong communication skills

Soldering experience highly desirable

Motor testing experience is a plus
