Roles & Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

The Park School is seeking Assistant Athletic Director Interns to join our team for the 25-26 academic year. Interns must be available between approximately 1:30–4:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, as well as one Saturday in February. In this role, interns will assist with the daily operations and logistics of the athletics program, including:

Supporting Park School’s overall athletic program and serving students, coaches, staff, families, and the broader school community.

Collaborating closely with the Director of Athletics to uphold athletic program policies and procedures.

Assist with managing practice and game-day operations, which may include event setup and breakdown, confirming officials and transportation, maintaining game and practice schedules, handling uniform and equipment inventory and distribution, operating the scoreboard, and more.

Performing additional duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

Enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student in Sports Management or similar program

Background or experience in athletics

Experience coaching at the youth, high school, and college level is preferred.

Professionalism in conduct, demeanor, and work habits

Reliable, responsible and detail oriented

Committed to fostering and contributing to a positive team culture.

Able to communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.

Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain it upon hiring
