Job Title: Quality Inspector

The teammate will train on 1st shift for one week and then transition to 2nd shift afterward.

Type of position: Temp to Hire

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Type of product associate will be working with: They will be inspecting product before it goes out the door or as it is coming off the machine.

Job Duties:

Perform inspections and tests according to company quality plans and protocols using precision measuring tools and lab equipment.

Provide feedback according to company standards and policy.

Report all non-conforming quality issues to lead/supervisor immediately that are related, but not limited, to production.

Issue hold tags and non-conformance reports.

Ensure quality reports, production documents and calibrations are accurate and conform to company policy.

Communicate issues and problems in daily shift meetings between shifts.

Perform data entry reliably and accurately.

Report food safety and quality concerns to personnel of authority to initiate action.

Fill in for Packer absences as needed on the bag lines.

Occasional lifting to 50lbs.

Requirements:

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Prior quality experience is highly preferred.

Computer and Data Entry skills (Word and Excel)

Ability to work overtime. Shift:

Additional Info

Teammate needs to speak 60% English or higher as all reports and instructions are in English.

Dress Code: IMPORTANT!

All pants must be worn at waist. No low rider or baggy pants. Leggings/jeggings must be covered in the buttock are

No loose clothing, including skirts or dresses are permitted.

No low cut or belly shirts that expose skins or underwear that hangs out of the top of the pants.

No spaghetti string or muscle shirts. Tank tops must be at least 2" wide at shoulder.

No open toe or open heel shoes, slippers, or clogs.

Shorts must be past your fingertips when arms are placed at your side.

Hair longer than shoulder length should be pulled up in a ponytail or hat.

Long hanging/ dangling jewelry, strings, or accessories are not permitted on the warehouse floor.

Sweatshirts are allowed; however, hooded shirts may not have the hood up while in the warehouse (restricts vision field). In addition, strings must be removed or tucked in.

Coats, jackets, purses, and bags are to be kept in lockers.

ID Badges must be always on

Attire should not be sexually suggestive or display any language or images that may be considered offensive.

Associates whose dress does not comply maybe be asked to leave and returned with proper attired.
