Serves as the primary support to executive level roles and/or departments and acts as liaison and ensures confidentiality of high-level, sensitive information. Manages office workflow. Assists with strategic planning processes and administrative goals and priorities. Prepares budgetary functions and plans special events.
Essential Functions
The Division of Geriatric Medicine is seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Division Chief, Associate Chiefs of Research, and a distinguished physician scientist. This role involves partnering with division leadership to develop and implement academic programs, including content creation, marketing strategies, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to key division leaders.
Collaborate with leadership on academic program development and implementation.
Develop content, manage marketing efforts, and oversee financial aspects of programs.
Operationalize recruitment of faculty candidates, including but not limited to escorting them throughout the campus.
Utilize and stay current with emerging technologies.
Foster a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to improvise under pressure.
Qualifications:
Excellent writing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong ability to embrace and adapt to new technologies.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Capacity to remain flexible and improvise in high-pressure situations.
