PGS Worldwide is hiring a hands-on Electronics Assembler to join a fast-paced, high-impact team supporting complex circuit card and small-parts manufacturing. If you have a steady hand, experience in electronics assembly, and are comfortable with J-STD-001 soldering, we'd love to connect with you.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and modify electronic parts, subassemblies, and wiring from schematics, diagrams, and verbal instructions
Solder components in compliance with J-STD-001 standards
Build and wire harnesses, route connectors, and install hardware such as clamps, knobs, and caps
Perform tasks such as epoxy bonding, potting, encapsulating, cleaning, and coating
Conduct minor mechanical tasks like touch-up painting or mounting assemblies
Install finished products into chassis, cabinets, vans, ships, or test beds
Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly and fabrication work
Follow detailed work instructions and visual aids to prepare parts and components
Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards, occasionally working with hazardous tools or chemicals
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing
Proficient in J-STD-001 soldering techniques
Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
Comfortable using crimping tools, hand tools, and small power tools
Ability to sit, stand, and lift objects up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience assembling and wiring inside military or aerospace cabinets or racks
Familiarity with encapsulation, epoxy bonding, or potting of electronic components
Understanding of cable routing for complex electronic systems
