Interior Architect - NYC

Jamestown is expanding our in-house architecture team to support the design and implementation of architecture and interiors projects across Jamestown's real estate portfolio.

The Jamestown Architecture team is responsible for the design and oversight of architecture, landscape architecture, signage, wayfinding, lighting, and interior design projects.

This position provides immediate opportunity to contribute to significant adaptive-reuse, mixed-use, office, and hospitality developments across the United States.

Key Responsibilities: * Design and Design Documentation: * Prepare renderings, plans, elevations, sections, and details for hospitality, office, and building common space projects for both internal and external review.

* Project Oversight & Management: * Oversee and manage 3rd party architects' design and documentation for office, retail, and hospitality projects to ensure work product aligns with Jamestown's vision, brand and quality standards.

* Communicate 3rd party design progress back to the executive team and other departments at Jamestown.

* Preparation of RFPs for projects that require third party consulting services * Collaboration & Communication: * Coordinate and collaborate with internal Jamestown teams across creative, marketing, project management, and leasing functions for seamless project execution.

Qualifications * Professional Degree in Architecture.

Licensure a plus.

* 5-7 years professional experience in architecture - Interior hospitality (F&B) and commercial office experience is a plus.

* Knowledge of construction systems and experience with interior detailing.

* Skilled in communicating design ideas quickly through sketching and/or 3d modeling.

* Fluent in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and 3d modeling software.

* Strong organizational and communication skills.
