Job Title: Supply Chain Engineer II or III

Location: New Bern, NC (on site). Relocation package available

Salary: 80-120k depending on experience + 5-10% bonus

Summary

This role focuses on enhancing supply chain efficiency and supporting manufacturing through optimized processes in logistics, warehousing, and inventory management. The Supply Chain Engineer applies standardized tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement and ensure seamless operations across receiving, shipping, material flow, and customer service functions.

Responsibilities

Design and improve material flow systems, from inbound materials to outbound finished goods.

Develop and document operational standards, procedures, and ISO-compliant work instructions.

Enhance warehouse and production operations through layout optimization and material handling improvements.

Manage SAP processes related to internal logistics and streamline system integration.

Define packaging requirements, ensuring safety and ergonomics compliance.

Perform simulations and analysis to improve logistics and operational efficiency.

Drive cross-functional projects, facilitate team collaboration, and mentor colleagues in problem-solving.

Coordinate training for material handling and maintain procedures aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required);

Master’s degree (preferred).

Certifications: Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Lean methodologies, and problem-solving frameworks (e.g., 6-SIGMA).

Experience: 3-7+ years in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.

Skills and Competencies

Strong analytical and project management abilities.Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Effective communicator with a collaborative mindset.
