Location: Syracuse, New York Employment Type: Full-Time

Opportunity Details: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our well-established team at a leading hospital in Syracuse. This full-time position requires 2,100 hours annually, providing comprehensive anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures, including vascular, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, and gynecology. Minimal pediatric cases will be encountered, primarily at an ambulatory surgery center (ASC).

Compensation and Benefits: The hospital offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:

Compensation: $600,000.

Sign-On Bonus: $125,000.

Retention Stipend: Available for the first 2 years.

Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay: Opportunities for additional earnings.

Malpractice Coverage: Paid malpractice, including post-employment tail coverage.

CME Allowance: Time and expense allowance for continuing medical education.

Paid Time Off: 10 weeks of paid time away from practice.

Call Schedule:

Standard call includes 1 weekend per month.

3 in-house overnight calls every 2 months.

4 second calls every 2 months.

Requirements:

Current New York State licensure and DEA registration are required.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.

Cardiac fellowship required.
