Outside Sales Representative

Location: Greater Houston (Onsite)

Position Overview:

As an Outside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be developing strong, lasting relationships with clients in the Greater Houston Area. Your goal is to understand their workspace needs and provide customized office furniture solutions that align with their vision and budget. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at building trust, values client relationships, and is excited to earn through an uncapped commission structure with a monthly draw system.

Key Responsibilities:

Cultivate and nurture relationships with a variety of clients, including businesses, institutions, and organizations in need of office furniture solutions.

Regularly meet with clients on-site to understand their specific needs, space requirements, and preferences.

Provide expert guidance on Capital Furnitures product offerings, recommending solutions that meet client goals and reflect our commitment to quality.

Utilize2020 GIZAto create detailed and accurate estimates and bids for office furniture projects.

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by proactively expanding client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Keep detailed records of client interactions, proposals, and sales outcomes to support a clear, organized sales process.

Participate in company meetingsto stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in relationship-based sales, ideally in office furniture, interior design, or related industries.

A track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, with a focus on relationship-building.

Experience with 2020 GIZA, Design softwarefor creating estimates and bids for office furniture projects (preferred).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative, client-focused approach.

Self-driven and able to work independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Greater Houston Area.
