What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related/relevant field with an advanced degree preferred
Ten years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 4 years of technical leadership and architecture experience and seven years of experience evaluating business requirements and designing complete systems solutions in complex environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Attributes:
Demonstrated architecture experience at enterprise and division level and multiple technology fields.
Expert in a broad range of technology platforms and technologies and how they interrelate within the Cambia technology portfolio.
Regarded as the domain thought leader for specific domains within Cambia.
Comprehensive knowledge of coding fundamentals and practices at Cambia and within the industry.
Understands and resolves highly complex large scale or industry wide problems. Able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot such problems utilizing resources to coordinate solutions. Able to troubleshoot in outside of the technology domain. Understands and applies good quality management practices when troubleshooting.
Ability to coordinate across programs to develop long-term roadmaps that clearly identify the need for coordinated funding and align to business capability development.
Capable of leading engineering to execute company strategy. Actively supports and influences industry-wide direction and objectives.
Demonstrated high levels of personal output and ability to develop concepts and technologies that increase productivity on industry-wide basis.
Ability to facilitate the adaptation of the company and industry in response to technological changes in the market. Ability to anticipate future technical change and contributes to industry trends to guide and set Cambia's overall technical direction as well as direction within the industry.
Ability to apply verbal, written and persuasive communication skills to influence others both individually and groups.
Ability to develop tools and communications to broad and diverse audiences which effectively communicate technical information via a variety of media.
Certification in Archimate and TOGAF, or equivalent frameworks.
What You Will Do at Cambia:
Leads the definition of reference architectures and patterns. Prioritizes reference development. Develops reference implementations.
Clearly documents all solution within the EA Modeling Environment. Mentors new architects on the use of EA Modeling tools.
Actively leads and participates in the review and governance of architecture quality.
Supports in the development of architecture practices. Leads the definition of reference architectures and patterns. Prioritizes reference development.
Provides overall technical leadership across entire organization.
Participates in industry technology and business initiatives.
Defines, challenges and refines Cambia's broader organizational processes (PM, Architecture, Design, Deployment, Operations, Support, including Business functional processes) to increase efficiency and productivity. May develop new process components and methodologies to meet current and future needs.
Plans the development of new processes. Develops new process components and methodologies to meet current and future needs.
Anticipates industry direction and evolving customer needs and creates new reference architectures and design patterns to address the introduction of emerging technologies into technology solution design.
May be subject matter expert on coding. Develops coding principles, concepts or methods to advance the company.
Accurately estimate resources and time scales needed to execute a program or projects or plan a service implementation.
Conduct presentations at customer, industry and/or media events.
The expected hiring range for an Enterprise Architect is $161,500-218,500 depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 25%. The current full salary range for this role is $152,000-247,000.
