Join our Team at Grounded as our first Full-time Welder!

As Grounded’s first full-time Welder, you will utilize your knowledge, experience, craftsmanship and creativity to fabricate custom designed components for our customers, as well as for commercial fleets including mobile medical vehicles, dental vehicles and more. You will pioneer new designs and manufacturing techniques to push the envelope of RV construction and aesthetics. You will stand up Grounded’s weld shop from scratch, including setting safety standards, tooling and equipment.

STARTING HOURLY RATE FROM $20 TO $24 HOURLY

RESPONSIBILITIES

Custom Module Fabrication - lead fabrication of new designs and assemblies for Grounded’s custom electric vehicle portfolio.

Shop Build-Out - design and organize the shop floor space needed to fabricate custom cabinetry and modules.

Design Feedback - provide design feedback and advice for the engineering team and designers. Provide solutions and implement new ideas on the floor to constantly improve Grounded’s modular components.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED

2+ years of welding experience or equivalent degree + years of experience

TIG/MIG welding experience, with demonstrated experience welding both aluminum and steel

Able to read engineering drawings

Basic metal fabricating experience
