Functional Analyst Sr Advisor - Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) / Assured Command and Control (AC2) Specialist

And our work depends on a Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW) / Assured Command and Control (AC2) Specialist joining our team to support Tactical Training Group and Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Cyber activities. This position is located at San Diego, CA on a government site.
HOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide course support and instruction to the military staff instructors regarding instruction, mentoring, scenario development and course management.
Provide instructional support using government provided facilities, equipment and training tools.
Be a topical SME instruction covering specific topics within tactical warfare, staff planning, and command and control. Instruction occurs throughout the continuum of classroom, forums, practical applications and wargames.
Update related materials with the latest tactically relevant information.
Participate in open forum tactical/planning discussions.
Attend student briefs to evaluate and provide tactical and technical recommendations. The contractor shall provide tactical and system expertise during practical application and wargame execution.
Observe wargames, providing feedback on student progress and recommending changes to accomplish training objectives.
Provide assessments of student performance to military instructor for formal debrief
Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree in a Technical field
Nationally recognized certificate in Knowledge and/or Information Management; or identify that the certificate will be obtained within six months of award.
Broad technical background, knowledge, skills and experience in Command, Control, Communications, Computer Systems/Intelligence and Knowledge Management doctrine, principles, and processes for EMW/AC2 within a Navy Strike Group.
High level (CSG staff) fleet experience planning and implementing EMW/AC2 principles, doctrine, and TTP (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) as part of operations with Naval Carrier Strike Group, Expeditionary Strike Group, Amphibious Readiness Group, Fleet Staff, or Major Training Command staff (minimum of 3 years at this level).
In depth experience implementing and managing current generation of US Navy surface, sub-surface and airborne EMW systems or equivalent joint systems to meet warfare commander operational requirements as part of strike group operations (including coalition capabilities).
In depth experience using Navy Mission Essential Task List methodology and observational evaluation
In depth experience conducting training using current fleet training methodologies and requirements or equivalent military experience (at least 3 years at the senior staff level).
In depth experience planning and implementing critical EMW/AC2 enablers during Operations in a Denied or Degraded Environment (D2E). This should include principles, doctrine and TTP as part of operations or training with Naval Carrier Strike Group, Expeditionary Strike Group, Amphibious Readiness Group, Fleet Staff, or Major Training Command staff.
In depth knowledge of Composite Warfare Commander (CWC) principles.
In depth knowledge of the Information Warfare Commander (IWC), their staff, and integration within the CWC.
Base level knowledge of all CWC Warfare Commander roles and responsibilities.
Base level experience conducting Joint military operations within a strike group.
Must have an active DOD Secret clearance and eligible for TOP SECRET

The likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
