Position Summary

As the Manager of Trade Finance Analytics, you will be responsible for the financial analysis, modeling and analytical support of manufacturer contracts negotiated by the CVS Caremark Trade Relations teams. This role will allow you to also support the Trade Strategy and Operations teams with various analyses and reporting. This position affords you the opportunity to leverage your leadership experience through managing the work of a team with a focus on products under the medical portion of the pharmacy benefit.

Responsibilities also includes:

Working on financial strategies

Pre- and post-implementation analysis of the financial value of contracts

Providing analytics and data for contract negotiations

Managing and assigning work to a team of analysts

Monthly and periodic reporting to various groups

Reporting and tracking of rebate and volume trends

Support management in the development and maintenance of various reports to support the business

Your success will be driven by building and maintaining sophisticated models to aid the Trade organization to further improve prospective initiatives and strategies. This role will also require extracting drug utilization data from multiple databases, prepare ad-hoc projects, and create/modify PowerPoint presentations for senior management.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Finance experience: strategic, working with large datasets, project management

2+ years of Analytical experience using tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Python

Preferred Qualifications

Leadership/mentorship experience

MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Experience

PBM Experience

Power BI Experience

Coding Experience (SQL, Python, Alteryx, etc.)

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (HS Diploma and 4 years of experience) required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
