Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize regional accounting operations, including AP/AR, payroll, inventory, and month-end close processes.
Implement automated, GAAP-compliant financial reporting systems to ensure accuracy and scalability.
Integrate acquisitions into financial systems while maintaining seamless operations.
Establish and enforce internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
Collaborate on strategic projects, including forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
Mentor and develop a high-performing, decentralized accounting team to foster collaboration and growth.
Qualifications:
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a mix of public and private roles preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; advanced degrees are a plus.
Active CPA designation with deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards.
Proven ability to manage teams across multiple locations and drive results.
Experience with ERP systems, particularly Sage Intacct, is an advantage.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for stakeholders.
