Job Title: Payroll Coordinator (Contract Role) Location: Conshohocken, PA (Hybrid – Onsite 2 days/week) Pay Rate: $20–$22/hour Schedule: Full-time, Contract Position Summary: A-Line Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Coordinator for a contract position at a medical company's office in Conshohocken, PA.

This hybrid role (2 days onsite/week) will report to the Corporate Payroll Manager and be responsible for reconciling payroll batches, supporting specialized payroll and tax-related projects, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for designated employee groups.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and reconcile specific payroll batches and the manual check account.

Process and input payroll information accurately and timely using payroll and timekeeping systems (Workday and Kronos). Ensure all payroll transactions comply with tax regulations and internal policies.

Prepare and document manual payments in accordance with SOX compliance standards.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and associate information.

Respond to and resolve associate payroll inquiries and issues promptly.

Collaborate with HR Shared Services and other internal departments.

Support various high-visibility payroll and tax-related projects.

Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience; prior experience in high-volume environments preferred.

CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.

Proficiency in Workday payroll systems and Kronos timekeeping systems preferred.

Strong understanding of payroll compliance, tax reporting, and general ledger accounting.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Work Environment: Quiet, professional office setting with the expectation of 2 in-office days per week.

Primarily computer-based work (75%+ screen time). Occasional standing and mobility required.

Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to perform sedentary work with occasional standing or walking.

Fine motor skills for computer and phone work.

Visual acuity for reading data and screen work.

Capacity to handle occasional stress and deadline pressure.
