To join our team as an Energy Engineer I! Support the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations and utility program technical design and assistance. Leads design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programs. Writes and informs technical documents, publications, and conducts quality review of content. Provides general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments.

Effectively apply engineering principles and perform research as required to provide defensible calculations for program work and savings estimates.

Support the development of tools and calculators for use in our programs.

Provide design recommendations for prescriptive projects in our programs.

Support the review of filings, utility commission documents, and evaluator documents for technical accuracy and sound engineering practices; communicate findings and recommendations to more senior engineers and program staff.

Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks.

Propose solutions of issues to supervisor.

Anticipate issues, develop solutions, lead resolutions to internal stakeholders.

For this exciting career opportunity, you must have…

BS in Engineering or higher

0-2+ years of experience

Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred

Project Management experience preferred

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

Compensation Range$59,500.00 - $89,200.00
