Pulmonary Function Technician - Job Summary
We are seeking a Pulmonary Function Technician to perform routine diagnostic tests—including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion capacity, and six-minute walk tests—for both inpatient and outpatient settings. Under supervision, this role supports quality assurance, enters and processes test data, and communicates results to clinical staff. The technician is expected to maintain lab cleanliness, assist with supply tracking, and work toward PFT certification while gaining proficiency with ATS and AARC standards.
What you'll need to be successful:
Medical Assistant Certification, with pulmonary function experience preferred.
One year (12 months) of experience in a clinical position as a Certified Medical Assistant is preferred. Work experience in a pulmonary function laboratory is preferred.

Location: 5530 Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase, Maryland 20815
Status: Non-Exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week
Salary Range: Minimum $18.97/hour - Maximum 31.33/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
