About the Role
We’re hiring a senior-level Full Stack Developer to join a small, fast-moving product team building a production-ready web application. This is a long-term opportunity for an independent and experienced engineer to take ownership across both frontend and backend systems. You’ll be the first in-house developer, working closely with the founding team to build, deploy, and scale new features.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development across the stack using Python (Flask) for backend and Next.js for frontend
Design and build scalable APIs and connect them with the frontend UI
Manage and optimize data systems using PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka
Handle deployment and infrastructure using Docker and AWS
Integrate third-party tools and services (e.g., Stripe, email APIs)
Deliver clean, reliable, production-ready code
Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to shape the product roadmap
Contribute to the system design and architecture as the product evolves
Tech Stack
Backend: Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka
Frontend: Next.js (React-based)
Infrastructure: Docker, AWS
Third-party integrations: Stripe, email services
Ideal Candidate
5+ years of full stack development experience
Proficient with Python/Flask and Next.js, and confident working across the stack
Experienced with deploying production applications and managing infrastructure
Familiar with data-centric systems, asynchronous workflows, and integrations
Independent, resourceful, and comfortable working in a startup-style environment
Strong communicator and problem-solver, capable of making architectural decisions
Bonus: Experience with analytics platforms, admin tools, or FinTech-adjacent products
