Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect (SME) with a strong background in designing, building, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-class systems and architectures. This individual will play a critical role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives, developing current and target architectures, and ensuring system interoperability, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically versatile, and adept at identifying design gaps while driving strategic technology initiatives in a mission-critical production environment.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and secure enterprise architectures to support business and mission objectives.
• Create and maintain baseline and target architecture models for production environments.
• Align architecture standards and frameworks with overall business and IT strategy.
• Identify and address design gaps in existing and proposed architectures to ensure system stability, interoperability, and portability.
• Recommend and guide implementation of architecture enhancements and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, business analysts, and project managers.
• Ensure architecture documentation is current and aligned with Agile delivery practices.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Top Secret clearance (required).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, systems design, or software engineering.
• Associate degree in a related field (or 2 years of additional related experience in lieu of degree).
• Proven expertise in architectural design and enterprise system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile development environments.
