Job Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Validation Plan:
Collaborate includes but not limited engineers from design, purchasing, casting process engineer or/and other validation engineer to work on the detail validation plan.
Conduct process validation through work scheduling to lab to ensure compliance with Caterpillar standard practice.
Analyze and Document Results:
Collect and analyze data from validation tests to determine if casting processes meet validation criteria (an overview metallurgical logic needed).
Maintain detailed records of validation activities and results.
Ensure Compliance:
Work closely with quality assurance and production teams to ensure operational consistency.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues:
Identify and resolve any issues that could impact product quality during the casting validations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and rectify validation-related problems.
ISO17025 Lab Quality System
Play a certain role in ISO 17025 system and take responsibility as defined.
Leverage continuous improvement and lean mindset to support the daily work efficiency and safety improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Have good English speaking and reading skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Better to have:
1-5 years’ experience in casting processes and validation and quality assurance processes in manufacturing.
Have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with validation protocols and data analysis tools.
