We're on the lookout for a talented QA engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our product. As a QA engineer, you'll be responsible for testing our software, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with our development team to deliver a top-notch user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of our software.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test documentation and test artifacts.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of professional experience as a quality assurance engineer
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques to identify, isolate, and report bugs effectively.
- Familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium or Cypress to improve testing efficiency.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for automated test script development.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with developers and other team members.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
