Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Technician with strong knowledge in heat treating processes to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is passionate about maintaining high standards in quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee and ensure quality standards throughout the heat treat process.

Train and mentor new employees on procedures and safety protocols.

Troubleshoot technical issues and support production teams.

Maintain accurate documentation and reports using basic computer systems.

Collaborate with leadership to uphold continuous improvement initiatives.Top Skills and Experience

2+ years in a heat treat shop or related field.

1+ years in a lead role a plus.

Proficient in heat treating equipment and processes.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards.

Basic computer proficiency (documentation, reporting).Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to50 lbs.

Comfortable working in high-temperature environments.

Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.Work Environment

Work in a heat treat environment where temperatures are elevated due to ovens. The shop offers a collaborative atmosphere with opportunities for personal and professional development.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
